The Finnish-Ukrainian Business Seminar is a half-day event designed to provide the Finnish entrepreneurs, investors and other professionals with the novation in the trade legislation of Ukraine, country business climate, as well as to inform the Finnish audience about new opportunities for doing business in Ukraine in the context of implementation of the DCFTA (Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area) between Ukraine and the EU.
The first part of seminar will focus on the ongoing changes of Ukraine’s business environment and is aimed to encourage Finnish businesses to be more active in Ukraine. Invited Ukrainian speakers will represent Ukrainian Export Promotion Office and Ukrainian Investment Promotion Office (UkraineInvest). Presentation will be focused on business environment, adaptation of trade legislation, information on privatization of business entities, as well as update on investment opportunities.
Invited representatives of the Finnish companies (Konecranes Ukraine, Leinonen) will share their experience on doing business in Ukraine.
The second part of seminar is dedicated to the B2B meetings and establishing new business relations between Ukrainian and Finnish entrepreneurs. The Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI) in cooperation with Business Finland will work on business matching based on the concrete business proposals provided by the UCCI.
